Vanessa Saft MS Ed/LMSW-cc has spent the past 25 years dedicated to the well-being of young children and their caregivers. She received her LMSW from Fordham University and holds a Master’s in Early Childhood Education from Bank Street College. She has worked in school and community based programs, as well as private practice. She approaches and works with each child as a unique individual and as part of a whole. This includes their relationships, environment and experiences. One on one work with the child, as well as caregiver collaboration, are used to address social/emotional challenges, behavioral issues, school concerns, trauma, family transitions and attachment building. Vanessa has received training in ARC Framework (Attachment, Regulation and Competency), SMART (Sensory Motor Arousal Regulation Treatment) and Play Therapy. Building on her years of experience and study, she is able to create an individualized plan to support and promote well-being and healthy functioning for young children and their caregivers.
