Life can sometimes be complicated, distressing, and challenging. Painful life events, major life transitions, and past traumatic incidents can create difficult emotions, hopelessness, suffering, and unhappiness. It takes courage to seek help; a trusting counseling relationship acknowledges that vulnerability. My authentic presence and calming nature create a judgment-free, compassionate space where you feel welcome and accepted.

I believe that each person holds the ability within them to create change in their life. Grief and difficult life transitions have taught me that we all possess an inner strength, but sometimes it’s buried and blurred by our life events. My collaborative approach helps you explore life experiences to find your source of strength and resilience while creating a positive shift in your inner perspective.

I have a diverse educational background with a varied career that has provided insight into life’s joys and complexities. I hold a Master’s in Business from Bentley University and a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. I also hold a Life Coaching Certification from CoachTraining.Edu. For over twenty years, I have worked with adolescents as a professional ski coach for junior instructors. I have also worked as an adjunct accounting instructor at Southern Maine Community College while self-employed as a business consultant.
